The navigation and landing preparation feature set includes comprehensive geographic and navigational data such as GSHHS shoreline outlines, major lighthouses, GPS coordinates, AIS information, magnetic variation calculations, and the positional data of the Sun and Moon, along with a built-in logbook system.

Note: The AIS display functionality necessitates an AIS/Wifi gateway connection.

AIS capabilities encompass Aid to Navigation (AtoN), Man Overboard (MOB), and other vessel traffic information.

The application also incorporates embedded databases from the United States Coast Guard (USCG) and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), cataloging global marine lights with a nominal range of 10 nautical miles or greater.

Important Notice: Mariners are advised to consult all available sources of navigation and safety information before entering unfamiliar waters, including official Notices to Mariners.

Note: The NGA and USCG light databases used in this application were last updated in February 2013. The database will be regularly refreshed to ensure current information.

The system covers all major lighthouse landings with a detectable distance of at least 15 nautical miles across the entire globe.

• Global coverage from 75°S to 75°N latitude
• Automatic selection among five GSHHS detail levels: full, high, intermediate, low, and crude, based on zoom level
• Mercator projection for consistent mapping
• Provides precise positioning of your vessel and nearby vessels utilizing NMEA GPS and AIS data frames
• Requires a NMEA Wi-Fi connection (TCP or UDP) with a compatible repeater such as Digital Yacht’s iAIS
• Includes a detailed logbook capturing date, time, latitude, longitude, Course Over Ground (COG), Speed Over Ground (SOG), heading, water depth, true wind angle (TWA), true wind speed (TWS), leeway, stream set and drift, along with user comments
• Organizes logs by passage for operational clarity
• Supports logbook export via email in CSV format
• Features an NMEA protocol debugging window for troubleshooting
• Calculates magnetic variation using NOAA’s World Magnetic Model algorithms
